The service life is generally 2 to 3 years.

The important functions of non-woven fabrics are: 1. Heat insulation, energy saving, anti-frost; 2. Dehumidification, disease prevention; 3. Adjusting the light, shading and cooling; 4. Preventing strong winds, rainstorms, hail and insect pests.

Non-woven fabrics are gradually expanding their application in vegetable production. 15-20 g/m2 non-woven fabrics, can be used for floating surface covering in greenhouses and open ground floating surface covering, such as covering lettuce, shepherd's purse, spinach, yellow alfalfa, etc. in the greenhouse, covering celery, green vegetables, spinach in open fields etc., not only the output is low, but the quality is good, so it can be put on the market earlier. The non-woven fabric with a weight of 30-40 g/m2 can be used as the second thermal insulation curtain in the greenhouse, or it can be covered on the large ring shed, and then covered with agricultural film for thermal insulation and seedling raising. Put it under the second layer of agricultural film and use it as a heat preservation cover for seedlings in winter.

When using non-woven fabrics as floating surface coverings, pay attention to a few points: First, choose the ones with a relatively slow weight, which can be lifted as the crops grow, so the light transmission is quite good; the second is to cover the crops on the open ground, pay attention to the wind. Blow it off; the third is to keep the cover open day and night as much as possible to increase the photosynthesis of crops, especially the floating surface coverage in the greenhouse, which should be paid more and more attention.
