We are a factory and trading company of depilatory wax strip paper and other non-woven fabric products, professional in producing for more than 5 years.
Whether you're considering using wax strips for permanent hair removal or just trying out a new waxing technique, you've probably come across different kinds of depilatory strips. Which ones are best for your needs?
Reusable wax strips
Instead of buying reusable depilatory wax strips, you can make your own at home. You can cut up magazines and old T-shirts into strips, and apply the wax to those pieces. Just remember to wash and dry the material thoroughly before using it again. This way, you can save money while using waxing strips.
Reusable depilatory wax strips make waxing easier. These strips are made of high-quality non-woven paper, making them ideal for use on various body parts. You can also reuse them time and again. You can save money by making them yourself and storing them for later use. You can also use them to get rid of unwanted hair, which can be quite difficult to remove. In addition, you will save money on salon treatments, as you won't have to pay for waxing services as often.
Despite the fact that the majority of depilatory wax products contain natural ingredients, a few of these products do not. One example is sugar wax, which has its roots in the Middle East. This natural depilatory uses sugar and hot water as its base. While not truly a wax, sugaring has been used for centuries. Its use has been linked to its ease of application and non-irritating results.
Pre-waxed strips are available in varying sizes to suit various parts of the body. Some contain vitamins, aloe vera, honey, and other natural ingredients. The strips are also reusable so you can keep using them until they are worn out. Post-waxing lotion removes the remaining wax from the skin, prevents ingrown hair, and soothes the skin afterward. Paper towels are not a good substitute for wax strips, since they soak up the wax and tear it away. After using them, you have to clean the area thoroughly with a towel.
The application of depilatory wax strips can remove ingrown hairs by exfoliating the skin. The strips' coarse surface structure is ideal for rubbing the ingrown hairs and skin impurities. It also generates heat which helps the depilation wax layer to adhere to the strip during epilation. Then, the strips are quickly removed. The process can be repeated as many times as desired.
A typical strip consists of an external PE film and an interior non-woven depilatory backing sheet. There is a thin layer of depilation paste applied to one side of the backing sheet before pressing the two sheets together. This paste remains on both sides of the strip when it is removed. However, wax strips with a thin layer of depilatory paste are more effective than those without it.
The strips may also contain a derivate of vitamin E or aloe vera leaf extract, which are known for their beneficial effects on the skin. Suitable strips may have an adhesive layer that is 0.2mm thick or less. Ideally, the strips are made of a non-woven textile that is durable enough for use with an epilator. The adhesive layer should be relatively thin and non-compressible, with a tensile strength between 1200 and 1500 N/m.
